One of our favorite parts of being located in Miami is the access we have to some of the coolest and most unique locations year round for awesome shoots like this one.
A little history on Miami Marine Stadium. Located on Virginia Key, the stadium opened in 1963 and closed after Hurricane Andrew rendered the structure unsafe to the public. This amazing place was once home to boat shows and concerts and sat closed up for years while local and international artists took their chances and filled the entire stadium with layers on layers of unique art from around the world. Groups of local artists, celebrities and historical buffs recently fought to keep the stadium standing and they are now in the works of renovating it back to its former glory for the public to enjoy once again. But for now, this place is an amazing spot to sit amidst the history of Miami Street Art and enjoy the incredible view of Downtown Miami.
